Brentwood is a remarkable residential community located between Nashville and Franklin. Its population of approximately 40,000 is evenly distributed through the 41 square miles that comprise the city, largely owed to the residential zoning laws that require homes be located on 1-acre lots (exceptions are allowed when there is adjoining community green space counted in that acre). Brentwood is one of the wealthiest cities in Tennessee, and is notable for its outstanding Williamson County schools, recreational offerings and natural beauty.
