On the eastern edge of Williamson County lies the city of Nolensville, settled in 1797 and incorporated almost 200 years later in 1996. Along with the rest of Williamson County, the city has realized a steady increase in population, new home construction and services. Nolensville is glad to claim the lowest tax rate in Williamson County and welcomes the opening of three new schools for the 2016-17 school year: Mill Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Middle and Nolensville High.
